When Bonnie retired, her calendar suddenly became empty. At the North Suburban YMCA, She found more than fitness classes, She found friendships, [urpose, and a community that keeps her active, connected, and thriving every day. 

At the North Suburban YMCA, Melanie found more than activities, she found confidence, friendships, and opportunities to grow. Through inclusive programs and caring staff, she continues to build the skills and relationships that help her thrive both at the Y and beyond.

When Winter found the courage to ask for help, the North Suburban YMCA opened its doors. What began as support for a family in crisis became a place where her daughter, Autumn, found confidence, opportunity, and hope for the future.

At the North Suburban YMCA, learning to swim is about more than mastering a skill, it is about saving lives. Through swim lessons, financial assistance, lifeguard training, and adaptive programs, we are helping build a safer community, one swimmer at a time.
