11/21/24
We’re excited to announce that our roofing project is set to begin next week! Thanks to a Community Project Funding Grant from HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development), a portion of the project costs will be covered, and we are especially grateful to Congressman Schneider for his assistance during the application process.
Phase 1 of the project, which includes the Pool, Offices, Lobby, and ABC Studio, is scheduled to start next week and is expected to be completed by December 26, weather permitting. The project will proceed in phases, and while we do not currently anticipate significant class cancellations or facility closures, plans may adjust as construction progresses.
What does this mean for you?
- There may be some noise, especially during the first few days (11/25-11/27).
- Some dust may arise due to construction and vibrations, but please rest assured that our team is committed to maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment throughout the project.
- The circle drive on the north side of our building will be closed during construction for machinery and equipment.
- Y-time pickup will require parents to park in the lot and walk inside.
- The playground will be closed.
- During construction, there may be occasional temperature fluctuations in certain areas. We are committed to minimizing any discomfort and ensuring a comfortable environment throughout the project.
- Stay informed about any updates to room availability or class schedules by checking our app or the signage at the front desk.
We truly appreciate your patience as we address the roof leaks, and we’re excited that this much-needed repair will be completed soon! Thank you for your understanding and support.
