Originally launched as our Halloween Spooktacular and later combined with 50 Fest—a celebration of the Y’s 50th anniversary—this community tradition has grown into today’s Trunk or Treat.
Families, neighbors, and community partners come together to decorate their car trunks, hand out candy, and create a safe, fun space for kids to trick-or-treat. With costumes, contests, music, and activities, it’s a festive way to celebrate Halloween and connect with the community at the Y.
