Shirley Aberg

Shirley Aberg is a former teacher and counselor. She has since studied and participated in art workshops and shows in Illinois and California. She has sold pieces and won awards for her art in Illinois, California, New York and England.

Shirley started painting in watercolor, and has created artwork using pastels, oils and multimedia. She now works mainly in acrylics.

"I am stimulated by nature: shapes, patterns, color and mood. I love painting sunrise and sunset, nature centers, and the change of season.”
