The North Suburban YMCA (NSYMCA) and the Chicagoland Korean Rotary Club of Northbrook partnered to launch Café Voca, a strategic initiative originally funded by a Rotary International grant. Today, the program is sustained through the generosity of our members, whose donations ensure its continued growth and impact. Café Voca provides vocational training and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (often referred to as special needs) between the ages of 16–25. Participants gain education, hands-on work experience, and opportunities throughout the café, building a well-rounded foundation that can lead to meaningful and lasting employment.
