Seniors currently make up more than 25% of the Northbrook population. The Northbrook Public Library strives to provide materials and offerings geared to meet the needs and interests of these older adults. Originally established as a Reading Room in 1919, The Northbrook Public Library has seen multiple expansions and growth in the past 100 years. Its growth, both in size and services, is a testament to the library’s commitment to serving the changing needs of our community.
Senior Services and Outreach librarian, Debbie Siegel, has over 30 years experience working with seniors. In her role at the Northbrook Public Library, Debbie focuses on providing services to older adults.
