POST-PARTUM HEALING: WHAT IS NORMAL AND WHEN TO SEEK HELP FROM A PELVIC HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPIST

PRESENTED by Physical Wellness Lab

The post-partum phase for a new Mom is so challenging to navigate! We are often told that at 6 weeks we are “cleared” to return to our normal activities, but why don’t our bodies feel normal yet? We will talk about pregnancy related changes and how it affects the post-partum body as well as common physical symptoms that occur post-partum. We will discuss what are normal changes and when to seek help from a pelvic health PT. Everyone’s healing journey is different so we will have lots of time for Q&A!
