ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Age Requirement: 18+ years.
At least 3 years experience working with children in a camp setting.
Manage and supervise assigned camp groups and staff.
Evaluate, asses, and coach assigned camp groups and staff.
Manage and oversee assigned camp groups events and activities.
Work and collaborate regularly with leadership staff and Director.
INCLUSION AIDE COUNSELOR
Age Requirement: 16+ years.
At least 1 year of experience working or volunteering with children with special needs.
Successfully include and assist participant safely and appropriately into their assigned camp group.
Work and collaborate regularly with the Head Counselor, Special Services Coordinator, and Director.
JR. CAMP COUNSELOR
Age Requirement: 15+ years (a worker’s permit must be obtained prior to employment start date).
Experience working or volunteering with children (outside of babysitting).
Assist with group management. Support the Assistant and Head Counselor.
Participate in all group activities and games.
ASSISTANT CAMP COUNSELOR
Age Requirement: 16+ years.
At least 1 year of experience working or volunteering with children (outside of babysitting).
Assist with lesson planning. Assist with group management.
Support the Head Counselor.
Participate in all group activities and games.
HEAD CAMP COUNSELOR
Age Requirement: 17+ years.
At least 2 years of experience working or volunteering with children (outside of babysitting).
Lead and lesson plan all activities & games for specific camp group.
Manage, coach, and direct support counselors.
Work and collaborate regularly with leadership staff and Director.
Participate in all group activities & games.
Counselor In Training
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is a 5-week intensive, hands-on training experience that gives teens valuable insight into the role of a camp counselor.
Our CIT program is designed to offer qualified young people an opportunity to prepare for positions as camp counselors or recreation leaders.
Guided by an experienced CIT Program Coordinator, CITs will develop their decision-making and problemsolving skills by assisting with daily activities and camper care.
Lead Preschool Camp Counselor
• At least 2 years of experience working or volunteering with children (outside of babysitting).
• Must be at least 17 years or older.
• Interest in working with children and significant evidence of emotional maturity, good moral character, judgement, integrity and leadership capability.
• Enjoyment and appreciation of the outdoors.
• Ability to lead, guide, discipline when necessary, and supervise children of varying ages.
Assistant Preschool Camp Counselor
• At least 2 years of experience working or volunteering with children (outside of babysitting).
• Must be at least 16 years or older.
• Interest in working with children and significant evidence of emotional maturity, good moral character, judgement, integrity and leadership capability.
• Enjoyment and appreciation of the outdoors.
• Ability to lead, guide, discipline when necessary, and supervise children of varying ages.
