Pre-School Dance Class Dress Codes

Ballet Rhythms (3 year olds)

• Pink, plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes

Ballet Beats & Pre-School Tap (4 year olds)

• Red, plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes (black tap shoes for tap)

Ballet Designs & Pre-School Tap (5 year olds)

• Navy blue, plain short sleeved leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes (black tap shoes for tap)
• Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail or a braid.

Jewelry is limited to small post earrings. No chains, watches or necklaces are to be worn during class. Tutus or skirts are not allowed in any class or leotards with attached skirts.

Ballet Rhythms

(3 years old by 9/1/06) Pink Leotards.
A charming first approach to dance. Large motor skills, simple ballet steps, creative movement and limited tumbling.

Ballet Beats

(4 years old by 9/1/06) Red Leotards.
Students improve motor skills, learn basic ballet positions and begin work on simple ballet movements.

Ballet Designs

(5 years old by 9/1/06) Blue Leotards.
Students work on basic ballet skills and movement. More complex concepts in dance will be introduced.

Pre-School Tap

(4 - 5 years old) Red or Blue Leotards.
Basic tap technique including marching, shuffles, flaps and ball changes. Curriculum will also include short dance routines combining movements.

Youth Dance Class Dress Codes

Ballet Dress Code—Required Attire

• Black leotard
• Pink tights
• Pink ballet shoes
• Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail or a braid.

Jazz Dress Code - Required Attire

• Black leotard or unitard
• Black tights or jazz pants (no jeans!)
• Black jazz shoes

Hip Hop Dress Code—Required Attire

• Comfortable dance clothing,(no jeans!)
• Black gym shoes or jazz sneakers

Modern Dress Code—Required Attire

• Black—Leotard or Unitard
• Black—Footless or stirrup tights
• Bare feet—No socks or shoes

Tap Dress Code - Required Attire

• Black leotard or unitard
• Black tights or jazz pants (no jeans!)
• Black tap shoes
