- Pilates Basics + (All Levels)
- Pilates works from the inside out to develop a better understanding of our body. Through awareness and breathing techniques, we rediscover the energy that lies within! The six fundamental principles of the Pilates Method will be learned and practiced. They are as follows: CONCENTRATION-CONTROL-CENTERING-FLOWING MOVEMENT-PRECISION & BREATHING. A segment of body rolling will also be incorporated to stretch the muscles laterally. Try it today!
Yoga Classes
- Fitness Yoga (All Levels)
- Fitness Yoga combines traditional yoga postures with modern fitness moves. Slow stretches are combined with strengthening postures to improve strength and flexibility. Excellent for those who are looking to increase range of motion, reduce stress and aid relaxation.
- Yoga Fundamentals (All Levels)
- Use of classical Hatha Yoga poses and breathing techniques to build strength, stretch the body, and relax. Detailed attention to alignment and strong use of props to allow students to experience the actions of the pose. All levels, although basic poses will be emphasized.
- Beginning Hatha Yoga (Beginner)
- Gentle Yoga is the lightest, easiest type of yoga suitable for the exercise novice or those looking for a little slower paced class. Hatha Yoga gently stretches the body to increase range of motion, improve strength, and flexibility, while relieving stress. 75 minutes of breathing and relaxation exercises are taught for balance and energy.
- Hatha Yoga (All Levels)
- Hatha style yoga is an ancient practice of gently stretching and limbering the body to increase health, strength, flexibility, vitality and self-awareness. 75 minutes of breathing and relaxation exercises are taught for balance and energy. Yoga is an effective way to decrease mental and physical fatigue and stress.
- Yoga Kids (Ages 7-10 and 11-13)
- Build strength and flexibility by recreating yoga poses and practices in child-friendly ways.
Cardio/Strength Classes
- Basic Cardio Plus (All Fitness Levels)
- Utilize low impact moves in this joint friendly class. Geared for a low to moderate intensity level, the class will include cardiovascular, strengthening and stretching exercises.
- Cardio Mix (All Levels)
- Join us for an energetic mix of hi/low aerobics and fun step routines.
- Cardio Boxing (All Levels)
- Boxing and martial arts techniques combined with boot camp drills that may include jumping rope, jumping jacks, push-ups, sit-ups and much more. The combination of these activities improves cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, agility, coordination and balance.
- Step Aerobics (All levels)
- Cardio endurance class featuring stepping patterns on the step board.
- General Fitness (All Levels)
- Combination of basic free-style aerobic moves and general body toning. Great for the beginner or those who like simple, easy to follow choreography.
- Interval Blast (All Levels)
- Intervals of floor and step aerobics alternated with upper body toning exercises.
- Pump & Flex (All Levels)
- High intensity strength and endurance group exercise class that will target each major muscle group for 4-5 minutes. Body bars and free weights are used ranging from 5 to 25 lbs. Core training and flexibility exercises are included. See a change in your body and energy in only a few weeks!
- Step Circuit (All Levels)
- Try something different! Increase your aerobic endurance and muscular strength using simplified choreography in this combination workout. High-energy class combines short 5-min. cardio segments and 2-min. strength training segments. Includes step and hi/low patterns finishing with core and flexibility exercises.
- Complete Strength (All Levels)
- Muscular strength exercises that work all muscles groups of the body.
- Boot Camp (All Levels)
- High energy interval training offering advanced drills for agility, speed and power, including bodyweight conditioning and cardio and strength training drills.
Cycling Classes
- Challenge Cycle (Int./Adv)
- 90 minute aerobic interval training to improve cardiovascular endurance. Non-impact, high intensity workout, designed for people who like long distance endurance rides. This class is a great way to train for outdoor cycling events.
- Cycle & Sculpt 30/30 (All Levels)
- This fun class combines 30 minutes of cycling and 30 minutes of strength training to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance, balance , coordination and flexibility.
- Interval Cycle (All Levels)
- 45 minute class designed for people of all fitness levels that are looking for a fun, but challenging non-impact workout. Aerobic interval training is utilized to help improve your cardiovascular fitness as well as strengthening lower body muscles.
- Power Cycle (All Fitness Levels)
- 60 minute class where the focus is a combination of strength and speed to increase power. Cycling experience is helpful.
