Description: The North Suburban YMCA is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor that is certified to teach step, hi/low aerobics, kickboxing or other cardio format for our 6:00pm class. Primary responsibilities include: plan and instruct fitness and/or related classes following YMCA standards and guidelines; set up and take down class equipment; report equipment problems; observe and discuss individual progress with participants; develop rapport with members and respond to questions related to fitness; ensure safe and effective workouts; respond to and report accidents and incidents; attend staff meetings and approved trainings as required. Group Exercise and CPR certification are required. |

Description: The NSYMCA is seeking a Contract Massage Therapist to provide massage therapy sessions on a part time basis. Therapists are expected to design specific sessions based on member’s individual needs, promote the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy, and create excellent experience for members through friendly and helpful attitude. The Massage Therapist will manage their own schedule, so therapist must be reliable and dependable. A table is provided, but therapist may use their own massage chair if desired. Must be licensed from an accredited massage therapy school and have liability insurance. |
