The YMCA is one of the largest nonprofit community service

organizations in America!

The North Suburban YMCA needs your help. We're not a gym. We're not a recreation facility. We are a charitable organization. As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of people like you to support our programs and services. Everything we do is in service of making us--as individuals and a community--better. Together, we can achieve so much more. Please consider making a gift to the Y. There are many ways you can make a difference today:

Every day, the Y strengthens communities for kids, adults, seniors and families with programs that protect, teach, connect, heal, nourish and encourage. It’s how we help communities and the “us” who live in them…

-         -   find the power of their full potential
 -   achieve our individual and collective promise
 - realize their incredible possibilities

This year more than any, the Y needs our community to continue to rally around the center of the community and make a commitment to OUR NEIGHBORHOODS.

It only takes one person to make a difference in someone's life - will that person be you? Click here

As we move towards the future of the NSYMCA and our community, we are launching a series of transformative new Strategic Initiatives that will guide our Y for the next 50 years! These efforts will secure the capital and capacity building requirements needed to meet the needs of the community.

These programs will accompany our efforts to secure the capital and capacity building requirements needed to meet our Strategic Initiatives, as well as expand opportunities for Youth Leadership Development, investment in STEAM Education, Special Needs Services, and Active Older Adults.

Help us secure the next 50 years of the Y with a donation.

Make a donation to the North Suburban YMCA in honor of a loved one or friend. Your gift may be made in memory of someone special or in honor of a holiday, anniversary, celebration, or birthday, etc. A special note of recognition will be sent to the honoree on your behalf.

Show someone you care about them (and the Y).

 Ruth SchultzCircle

The Ruth Schultz Bright Days Fund was created in honor of Howard Schultz's 10 years of service as President/CEO of the North Suburban YMCA (NSYMCA). Funding enhances positive experiences for youth in NSYMCA athletic, special needs, and youth programs, to promote new skills, enjoyment, health, community involvement, and leadership development.

Give to make brighter days for others.

The NSYMCA believes every family and individual should receive the help they need to reach their full potential. Each year the community helps to support this open door philosophy through donations and fundraising through the annual NSYMCA Ken & Alta Thiel Strong Kids Dinner. Gifts to this campaign provide funding to make Y programs accessible to families in financial need, including after-school childcare, summer camp, life-changing swim lessons, special needs programs, and memberships.

Each year, 1 in 5 of our members, rely on this assistance to reach their full potential.

Become a hero in our communities today!

NSYMCA’s giving clubs recognize generous members, supporters, and community leaders who demonstrate a strong commitment to the Y and its mission to help children, families, and seniors in our community reach their full potential.

Help make a difference in your community!
