Summer Day Camp Positions
Camp Counselor
The Camp Counselor is one of the most important positions in the North Suburban YMCA's Day Camp program. The Camp Counselor is the key to the overall success of the summer camp program. The Camp Counselor's duties are to maintain the safety and supervise their campers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: guiding the camper’s character development, teaching skill development, participating in camp family night programs, correspondence home to the parents of your campers, serving as a an appropriate role model for all campers, and representing yourself and the North Suburban YMCA in a positive manner. All Camp Counselors must be 18 years of age and have experience with leadership and/or working with children.
Camp Adminstrative Assistant
The Camp Administrative Assistant is the right-hand to the Camp Director. The Camp Administrative Assistant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Correspondence home to the parents, newsletter development, handling special lunch orders, serving as a an appropriate role model for all campers, and representing yourself and the North Suburban YMCA in a positive manner.

Early Childhood Staff
Kid Zone Attendant
Requirements: A strong desire to work with young children. Must posses capabilities to communicate with members and children alike. Required to bend, stoop, react quickly and move briskly if needed and carry up to 30 lbs. Hours: Varied Monday-Friday 8:30 am-6:00 pm and Saturdays 8:30-12:00 noon

Customer Service Representative
The North Suburban YMCA is seeking a positive, customer service oriented personality. This person must have prior experience in the customer service field, be able to balance cash receipts, and multi-task.
